Dr. Michael Lesem, MD is a solo Psychiatrist in Houston, TX. Dr. Lesem graduated from the University of Texas in 1976 with honors and  the University of Texas Medical School, Houston in 1981. In 1982 he completed an internship with St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas, TX and then completed his Residency in Psychiatry in 1985 and where he was the Chief Resident. A Fellowship followed at the National Institute of Mental Health in 1986. Dr. Lesem is Board Certified in Psychiatry (1986) and Geriatric Psychiatry (1992). Dr. Lesem is at the forefront of Clinical Research  in Mental Health and has worked to destigmatize the illness for over 30 years.
